Germicidal lamp PROLUX G® 110WPL/D55 is used specifically for disinfection of air without the presence of people. Ultraviolet radiation of wavelength 253.7 nm spectrum UVC is used for the disinfection process. Disinfection occurs when the radiation is applied to microorganisms, which instantly die due to disruption of their DNA cell structures. This germicidal lamp is used in all instances where it is not possible to ensure an effective disinfection by conventional means, or at places where stricter requirements for cleanliness apply.
