Combined mobile PROLUX G ® M55W/72WA DD is used for disinfection of air and surfaces without the presence of people and the disinfection of air with the presence of people. Germicidal radiation, which is ultraviolet radiation of wavelengths of 253,7nm on the UVC spectrum is used for the disinfection of air and surfaces. Open and enclosed systems can work both independently and simultaneously illimitably for a long period of time, or according to a set time of switching on a remote controller. An enclosed germicidal lamp is needed to be used in a closed space and to minimize the frequency of opening entrances. For an effective disinfection of air it is best to ensure that they are constantly closed. During the disinfection of air by the lamp it is possible to aerate by opening windows, but not permanently. For optimal disinfection of air, it is necessary to place the lamp in the immediate distance from persons situated in the room as they are a source of droplet or other nosocomial infections spread by aerosol.
Germicidal lamps are used anywhere where it is not possible to ensure air disinfections via common methods, and in places with higher hygienic standards (LDCH, ARO, ICU, OAIM).

Safety:
This germicidal lamp- an electronic device can be used by children aged 8 and older and
persons with lowered physical and sensory or mental capabilities, or persons with a lack of experience
and knowledge, if they are under supervision, or well educated on handling the device in a safe way
and understand the possibility of risks. Children must not play with the device. The cleaning and
maintenance can only be carried out by persons properly educated.

Disinfection of surfaces and air:
Disinfection by UVC radiation occurs at the moment of exposure to microorganisms which die rapidly due to disruption of their DNA. It is used anywhere where it is not possible to ensure disinfection of the environment via common methods, and in places with higher hygienic standards. Common glass nor transparent plastic let through UVC radiation. UVC radiation is only let through pure quartz-based glass. Visible light blue light is not identical to UVC radiation which is invisible to the human eye. This is highly effective but complimentary disinfection. Not sterilization!!!

Germicidal lamp installation:
In terms of safety against dangerous contact with an electric current the device PROLUX G ® M55W/72WA DD is a device of protection class I., covering IP20 (in regards to protection against electric shock in case of touching the device), which is intended for standard environments. It is mounted on a mobile five-arm stand. One of them can be braked by pressing the lock on one of the wheels.
Insert the main stick of the lamp into the middle of the five-arm stand, turn it clockwise and gradually tighten the stick onto the five-arm stand.
After programming the timer, the lamp can be put into operation. The operating instructions for the timer remote control DD are part of this manual.
Special attention must be paid during the installation in order to avoid unwanted exposure to UVC radiation by the personnel, during regular operating hours, in the case of an accident or in the case of unexpected circumstances.
More specifically, in areas where high efficiency of disinfection is desired, it is necessary to adhere to strict safety regulations. Personnel needs to be informed about all potential hazards under regular circumstances, as well as in case of equipment failure. It is also necessary to instruct the personnel on the nature and impact of UVC radiation on human body. Every training or instructing should be noted in a written record. Operational procedures of each facility using this germicidal lamp must be in accordance with applicable legislation (government regulation 410 of 2007).

Control of germicidal lamps:
The lamp can be turned on whenever manually by the ON button and to be turned off by the OFF button. The lamp can also be switched on and off automatically by programming 12 switching times for every day in the week. Programming the lamp- a remote controller has its own instruction manual, which is an attachment to this instruction manual.
Effective distance of a remote controller is 10m, a remote controller is paired to a specific lamp via a unique address, which can be in the case of losing the remote controller paired with a new remote controller.
