What the service covers

We help you select, install and start up UV-C germicidal lamps from Nexa s.r.o. (PROLUX G) for air conditioning units, ducts and rooms. Installation follows the manufacturer’s manual for the specific model, because positions, protection class and wiring differ between wall-mounted room lamps and in-duct lamps.

Typical steps

  1. Brief. You send the space type, room size or duct and unit dimensions, and airflow. We recommend a model.
  2. Site check. We confirm the mounting position, power supply and access, and how to keep light away from people.
  3. Installation. Wall lamps are fixed with the grid facing the area to be treated. In-duct lamps are fitted through an opening in the unit and earthed to the unit body, as the manual describes.
  4. Commissioning and training. We set up timers or remote controls where the model has them, and brief the staff who will operate and maintain the lamp. The manufacturer asks that this training be recorded in writing.

Safety points we build in

  • Open lamps are for unoccupied spaces only. Some models stop exposure when a motion sensor detects movement, but this does not replace door signage and procedures.
  • In-duct lamps are mounted so no one is exposed, including during an accident.
  • Installation work on the electrical supply should be done by a qualified electrician.
